Hello. I’m new here. Mid-50s man with a few years experience shooting wildlife stills using a canon DLSR. Pretty good at it. Have been wanting to learn about different video cameras to make quality short wildlife films, other than the DLSR. Watched a few intro videos on You Tube. Looking for more information. Any recommendations for learning sources is appreciated. Thanks.

Shooting Wild life, I would get a MiniHDV Tape camera. The newer HD cameras Interpolate the video, which means, they as store the video, one frame in four or frames is real, the rest are frames made by the camera’s electric circuits, which editing is near impossible.
