I would like to start using a light meter on my video projects. However, I am shooting on a Canon HF G10, which uses Gain settings instead of ISO. And, as I understand it, most light meters go by Aperture, Shutter, and ISO numbers.

Is there a meter with a Gain option? Or, conversely, is there some sort of standard conversion rate between Canon Gain numbers and ISO?

Sorry but with every camera being different, there’s no way to come up with any kind of a standard conversion rate. Either that or it would take way to much time to come up with such a converter.
