Hey all, *dumb* question, sorry.  but i need to check/hear this from someone else.

am an Windows/Adobe user with Sony gear, finally got myself an HD camera (Z5).

when i shot before to DV, edited.. and my project was final, i knew i could always keep a 'master' copy – lossless, by exporting my final project as an .AVI file.

now that i'm shooting HD, if I want to save a copy of my final project in the highest possible/lossless format, which of the many output settings in Premiere is the one to use? i have an idea, but i'd like to hear it from others ..

      many thanks,
      Geoff.

Media encoder has a "UNcompressed microsoft AVI" preset. For me it depends on the project.
