How to clone an army for video GS VFX

Hello

I was hoping to make a music video using green screen where I would clone one or two people marching and then later in post turn them into a larger army of soldiers marching past a man making a speech at a podium

I have seen some tutorials where they talk about cloning yourself so it’s like you are sitting on a couch with yourself, but I’m looking for tutorials or videos that show you how to take a clone of someone marching in front of green screen and edit a clone army

Any points in the right direction for cloning an army tutorials and videos would be of great help
