We are looking for a skilled videographer and journalist to travel to and document our newly expanded programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Central African Republic (CAR). In this position, you will travel to deep field locations, alongside IC program staff, to capture footage from the frontlines and gather stories from communities most affected by the LRA.

You will spend approximately half of your time in DRC & CAR, to seek out and document recent stories of LRA-affected communities, IC’s programming, LRA atrocities and other updates from the ground. The other half of your time will be spent in our San Diego Headquarters, where you will be responsible for compiling and editing the content to distribute to supporters, donors, and the larger NGO and humanitarian communities.

In this role, you will be breaking stories of Africa’s longest running conflict, and your work will directly impact policy related to the LRA, mobilize humanitarian assistance, and rally global support for life-saving programs in the region.
