Hello
I have the Panasonic HC-X1000.
Im new to the game and im struggling with noise, "Smoothed skin on ppl" and the focus is all over the place.
could someone recommend me some camera settings to get more sharp and better footage. (also for post (mabye settings for flat image))
Thanks a lot.
Noise is a result of signal to noise ratio. The sensor uses elecritcity to boost it’s sensitivity to light, but the parts of the sensor that do not detect anything records as noise because there isn’t a strong enough signal for those pixels. So make sure your cameras sensitivity levels (I SO or Gain) are not higher than the light level of what your shooting. As for sharpness, 90% of the time it’s because inexperience videographers are always missing critical focus, meaning the peak focus point is usually off by 4-5 inches.
