      Hi,

I am a newbie to video editing.. Could somebody tell me how to import footage from Photos App (Mac) into the FCP library? When opening the photos browser in FCP I can drag the video footage only into the timeline, but not into my library. According to the below source this should be possible however!?

      Thanks,
      Fabian

I actually just switched from PC to Mac (And couldn’t be happier), I had the similar issue. Assuming you’re importing from a camera, you will need to import the video from your device into the photos application. Then, you would drag and drop the units to a folder on your computer. Which then, you should be able to import into your program. If there is an easier way, I would love to know!
