Hey guys, Im new to videography. I recently upgraded to a Canon G30 but now I am having a hard time editing the film (AVCHD files). I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0. I have a Lenovo Ideapad with an Intel i5 processor. Can anyone help me get started on editing film?
Thanks!
You're probably not going to have much success with the computer you're using. AVCHD requires lots of memory and a robust video card. Check out what Adobe consides to be the minimum requirements for editing AVCHD in Elements.
Converting the AVCHD to other common video formats such as .mp4, .flv, .avi etc. before editing it can be a solution. There are quite a lot of free or paid editing programs available out there which can be run on most computers.
