I currently use a Canon T4i for video and the results are very good for what I'm doing. But I do a lot of work alone and would like WiFi capabilities to at least start and stop the camera. It amazes me that so many hoby cameras such as GoPro have these feature but Canon, Nikon, and others have completly ignored this consumer demand.

Does anyone know of a DSLR that has these capabilities?

Hi John – The lowest priced Canon with wifi and EOS Remote is the $999 Canon 70D.

With its fast and accurate Dual Pixel CMOS video autofocus, it is a significant upgrade to the T4i.

If you want to spend a little less money, you might want to consider switching to the wifi/NFC-capable Panasonic G6, which is $648 in the US.
