I am using a Sony FDR_AX53 camcorder to copy cine film projected on a screen and whish to record the sound from an audio output on the projector directly into the camcorder thus not using the built in microphone which picks up the noise of the projector. Can I use the little red plug-in/power microphone socket in the small opening flap compartment on the side of the camera. If so can you tell me which contacts on the presumably 4 contact jack plug I need to connect to. In other words can you identify all the contacts in this jack plug socket and in particular which are the sound in contacts?
