A lot of questions go with starting back into video to catch up with the technology and I need a place to post them to.
How many GB SD card will this camera use. I currently employ a 32GB card but have my eye on 64 or even 128 crazy as that may be.
Will they work?

Thank you for contacting Canon product support regarding your VIXIA HF M50.
Your camcorder is compatible with any capacity of SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. The largest card currently commercially available is 128GB, which your camera will accept. Because your camera also takes high definition video, we would recommend you purchase a card that is at least Class 6 or higher. These cards are widely available at nearly any retailer that sells consumer electronics.
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance with your HF M50. Thank you for choosing Canon.

I just got a Canon Vixia M50 this week for a vacation coming up. Great LITTLE camera, and I love not having to convert discs or tapes to use on computer.
One thing I can't figure out so far: is there any way to automatically timestamp the video, so that I can see the date/time on it? That may not be super-cool, but will be nice later on when trying to figure out what was when!
So far what I have figure out is how to use the "Decorate – Caption" function, but that seems to have to be added each time the camera is powered on. I'd like it to be able to be set to do it automatically.
Any help appreciated!
