Canon G30 to Premiere Pro CS5

      I've bought a Canon G30 and have the following problem as decribed online: "The users found soon that they always got errors while importing Canon HF G30 MTS AVCHD videos to Premiere Pro CS5 or CS6, CS5.5. In fact, Premiere can not handle 1080 60p AVCHD files well owing to the video codec." Now, how do I get the files from the camera imported into Premiere Pro Cs5 with as litte loss of quality as possible? I work on a PC. I guess I would need to know 1) What converter software is best and 2) How then to chose the best import settings in Premiere Pro CS5. Thanks in advance! Jakob
