Hi, I have a couple questions regarding getting the best quality footage with the equipment I am working with.
Shooting with a Canon XF100
1080, 24P, 50 mbps
I am shooting indoors in a well lit room.
Editing with FCP X
I have been hired to film some adult video for a company who does not care what settings I use, they just want the best quality possible. The videos are for online streaming.
My first question: Would anyone recommend settings other than the ones I am currently using?
My second question: After editing, I have roughly 15 -25 gigabytes of footage. After I edit it in FCP to a 15-45 minute video, I export it as an “Export File†and the finished product is only 3-5 gigabytes. Should I not be selecting the “Export File†selection? I have had a customer say that they think my videos are being compressed too much.

Have you tried exporting as a master file? It's gonna be big though !!
