Good evening. I just got a new DSLR Camera

      Canon Rebel Series EOS

I mainly got it to shoot video of myself for interview style views

I want to do a bokeh effect but have strong blurred background and good focus on subject which would be me

i am doing the videos all my self.

room is a smaller office type of room with a window outside.

What ISO settings should i be setting my camera at.

I been trying to do this, when i go to record my entire video looks regular or I am out of focus

also would a bokeh effect work better in manuel settings?

What would be the idea settings combination to put everything

as well how should i set up the lighting and what distance would be best to camera and to background? thanks
