Best way to go about compiling reel

Im working on putting a reel together from a variety of past projects and am wondering about the most efficient way of compiling the footage into one project file. Most of the projects are old and were edited on FCP 7. A lot of the footage is HDV1080p24 1440 x 1080. The rest is either AppleProres 1920 x 1080 or H.264 1920 x 1080. I’d like to compile exported sequences that I can use to re-edit into one reel instead of going back and using the master clips from each project. In Final Cut Pro, what would be the best way to export the sequences so that I preserve the original quality when I take selects and re-edit the sequences?

      Many Thanks!
