I’ve got a Sony HDR CX260V and I was wondering if there was any other camcorder that has better video quality and for a cheaper price (unless I sell this one and shell out a few hundred more). I have a canon 7D Mark II and that DSLR has amazing video quality but it’s a $1500 camera body. Is there any way how I can get a camcorder at a similar price of the CX260V that I have? It also doesn’t necessarily have to be from Sony either but it has to be compatible with Mac as I edit all of my videos via premiere pro on my MBP. Thanks!
Consider a Sony FDR AX-33 (or AX-100)
Both this cameras can record in 4K as well as regular HD.
You will find many reviews on them on YouTube. But to buy a new camera with only HD now, you will probably regret in a few years.
