HiI am new here. I am a musician and have beed recording music (my own) for over 25 years.Very good audio setup. The dumb basic question: Will I always have to deal with syncing the audio and video? Any camcordes that will do this for < $1,000? Thankss very much and I hope my question makes sense Patrhfinder

I'm not sure if I understand the question, but I'll take a stab at it.
Almost all cameras in that price range will have at least a 1/8" stereo audio input jack. If you take your pre-recorded music and split it into two outputs – one to your room and one to the 1/8" jack, you can play along with the pre-recorded music while you videotape yourself. This will bypass the camera mic and show you playing with the pre-recorded audio. No synching up later.
Hoepfully this is what you are looking for.
