Basic People tracking on Video Playback

Good morning everyone

I have been on google for days not to help me with me need, and has now eventually resulted in myself getting to this forum for some advice. I have a surveilance video clip of a crowd of people that broke into our compound, and I am currently busy with the investigation etc of the incident. I have learned that some software do exist with regards to tracking a specific individual in this video to see his whereabouts during the playback. The crowd is approx 80 plus strong and would thus like to click on each individual set some sort of tracking block on him name the block and then play the video to see where he moves to during the playback. Can someone please assist me with pointing me into the correct direction or recommend any type of software that I can perhaps use.
