MemberHi, Info: Yoga videos, 3 video camera stationary setup, rerond in 1080, shooting inside and outside on patio (all filming from home), would like the have all three cameras connected to a switching box and then recorded to a harddrive. Its only streaming on the web but still want great quality. Note, its a bonus if the camera looks like something a studio might use < I want to create the right inpression. Looking for camera recomondationsm, all input is welcome. Thank You Scott

ParticipantWhat your going to need is called a tricaster, and it depends on which tricaster you get as to what cameras will hook with it. What a Tricaster does is take video from Multiple cameras and allow the operator to decide which video gets to go the main out. Some can add titles and the like.

MemberI agree with Dave. I have used a Tri-Caster with robotic cameras and it will do what you need it to do.

ParticipantAs will similar products from Blackmagic design. The Tricaster is a studio in a box – virtual sets, stills and player facilities – the Blackmagic products are very cost effective bit don;pt have the virtual studio extras. They're also not quite so capable if you need to mix and match camera formats, but they have a very deent products range.
