      Looking at Papasonic gs250. I will be using this for family events, vacations, wild life ,and general videoing.

      Any suggestions PRO or CON will be appreciated.

      It’s a tri-CCD. More than you will ever want for the kind of events that you shoot.

      svhs, I appreciate your reply, I really like to camera and I think it is what I need.

      I was hoping for a Sony, but don’t know which one would meet to my needs.

      If you go for Sony, I advise you to take a look at TRV 75, HC 85, and maybe HC 1000.
