Hi. I’m looking to get my first 3CCD camcorder and consdering the above two setups. I shoot a lot of digital still photography, and have a bunch of "L" lenses….so while I first thought I would go with the GL2 for my first camcorder, I started thinking about getting the XL2 body for around $2500/EF lens adapter, and use it with my Canon EF "L" still lenses. Is there any reason I should not consider getting the XL2 body, and using my Canon "L" lenses, instead of going with the GL2? I am using FCP (starting a course), need XLR capability and shooting a lot of moving subjects (including dog shelter video work). Thanks for any comments. NIck
