What are my legal Rights?
I made a corperate video for a non-profit, I used personal stock footage as well as video aquisitioned specificaly for their end product. Can they re use the footage on other videos, that they create in-house?
THe above post is true. You "bought" or licensed the stock for that ONE production, and likely paid based on its expected distribution, and obtained a non-exclusive license for THAT use (unles you bought royalty free video) – it’s for the use you put it to.
Even if it is Royalty Free…you then own the license and decide what it’s used for/
Most people wont’ chase nonprofits – and I donate video to NPOs all the time…so it’s a good thing to do
