I just downloaded the Vidcast and I’m looking forward to watching it. My initial comment is that it seems awfully large for the amount of time. 134 MB for 21 minutes of video. Though it is in MP4, why not throttle the audio down from 48000Khz and the resolution down to 320 x 240 from 640×480? Personally, I use QT7Pro and the Export to “movie to ipod”.
I realize that not everyone has an iPod, but if they view it in iTunes they should be able to see it on either platform, eh? Even if you didn’t convert it to M4V format, a smaller resolution in audio and video would make it alot easier on the bandwidth to download.
Love the magazine,
