ParticipantUpgrades for Vegas Pro 11 are available – From $190 to upgrade from any Pro version and $600 to buy new (although there are better “new” deals out there and upgrade may come down in price).

ParticipantOf course there is always the free trial here http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/vegaspro?keycode=64506 if you want to see if it is worth it. I will install it now but probably will not do any editing until later this week.
Still shows DVD Architect at 5.2 though… That was what was available with Pro 10.

ParticipantI did find the time to do some render speed tests this evening – and was quite surprised at the genuine increase from Vegas Pro 10 to Vegas Pro 11. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed in Vegas Pro 11!
I have a report listed here:

ParticipantTwo things.
Birdcat. How do you always have the best price link. Its always less than the offer I get.
They are including the NewBlue Titler Pro. That was worth the upgrade price.

InactiveOphelia, it’s not so much as new features, rather it’s an evolutionary update. With GPU processing in previews and renders, it’s much faster. Most effects are now OFX giving you more control to keyframe the effects themselves. They’ve made some UI changes in dialog boxes, and moved some other things around a bit. The inclusion of the NewBlue Titler is a welcome addition, more tools for the tool set.

Participanttalk about terrible timing. i bought 10 a couple of weeks before 11 came out. oh well, what’s another 140 bucks to upgrade? i just downloaded it, so the issue is settled.

Participantpapayamon, contact Sony Customer Service, explain the situation and you should get a full refund as their policy has been that if you bought it less than a month before the new version was released, the new version was free.
