Right now, I’ve got some camera raw (DV-AVI) files with me, but they’re too large to carry around or use effectively. I’ve tried different compressors and bitrates, but I’m not too satisfied with the results. I’ve been told to convert into MOV, but I’m not sure what compressor to use. I want to keep the quality intact. I’ve also thought of AVI and MPEG as options, but in several renders (often 1152kbps) with different compressors (often H264, though I used DivX once) I keep getting pixellated videos. What settings should I use?
It’s not possible to keep full quality and compress size. It is a trade off, the more you squeeze the file size the less quality you can keep.
