ParticipantHello. Looking for advice on buying a telephoto lens for a camcorder. Are Kenko and Raynor good brands? What are important features to look for in the lenses?
Also the same for a wide-angled lens. I’m not particularly interested in the kind that give a fish-eye look to the picture – I’m interested in a greater panoramic look.
Thanks again.

ParticipantMe again 😉
To add to my above post – ordinarily I would’ve just selected a lens (from bhphotovideo) and ordered it, but a review of one them (the only review) was a complaint that only the centre portion is in focus and anything outside of the centre was blurry. Don’t know if the fault lies with the operator of the camera or something else.
So I’m wondering what should I be certain of when selecting the lenses. I think bhphotovideo is a very reputable company selling good brands.
Any comments? 😕

ParticipantHank, you have been very helpful. Thanks very much!! The ones I saw at b&h were between $50 and $70, so I’m on the right track. Thanks again.
