InactiveHi All,
I’m very happy to announce the launch of Pond5.com, an online stock footage marketplace.
Pond5.com is a revolutionary new way to buy and sell downloadable, royalty-free stock video footage over the web. Sellers can upload or mail in their clips and make them available to a global marketplace of buyers, who can search for, preview, purchase and download footage instantly, online, 24-hours a day.
Were currently recruiting video content creators and copyright-holders who are interested in partnering with us to sell their work online. We are looking for high-quality video clips, ranging from 5-30 seconds, of any subject that might be useful as stock footage: scenics and city shots from around the world; events and celebrations; people and lifestyles; motion graphics and animation; editorial/news content; and anything else that is unique, beautiful or compelling. We accept most standard video formats, including SD PAL/NTSC and HD/HDV.
Our artists earn 50% commissions on all sales (the artist sets the price), with monthly payouts, a non-exclusive contract and complete control over their work, along with a host of other benefits.
Also, we have a referral program, so if you sign up and invite your friends, you will earn 5% of everything they buy or sell on the site, for a year (they will of course still earn their full 50% commission on sales; the 5% comes from our end).
And if youre looking for footage, we have a rapidly growing collection of royalty-free clips available for purchase and instant download.
