      Hi
We’ve shot some scenes in daylight and other scenes later at dusk (due to running out of light!)
How can I even up the light – darken the lighter shots and lighten the darker shots?
I do actually want it to look like dusk is approaching….
      Thanks
      C

You could try ReelPaks from VASST (http://vasst.com/store/film-looks.aspx) or Movie Looks from Magic Bullet (now Red Giant) – http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/all/magic-bullet-looks/ or you could just play with the video FX until you get what you want – I would suggest several at once including color corrector, color curves, brightness & contrast and then add whatever else you need (secondary color corrector, fill, HSL, color balance, etc…).

I always start with Levels and work from there – it seems to always provide the best results (Premier Pro CS5.5).
