Hey, I was just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of any software I might need for sound effects and voice editing. Money isn’t much of an issue. I’m looking for something that has a good collection of sound effects so I don’t have to hunt them all down, particularly a collection for an action-oriented movie. I’d also like something that would let me edit audio, make someone’s voice demonic, that sort of thing.

Could someone point me the right way?

      Thanks!

Take a look a http://www.sound-ideas.com in Canada. They’re kind of expensive, but have great SFX collections.
      Hope this helps, πŸ™‚

Sony has a nice, if pricey, collection – http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/loop_libraries/default.asp?CID=91

Digital Juice has a special running right now – http://www.digitaljuice.com/products/products.asp?pid=216 – Limited time offer for their SoundFX II library (15,700 sounds) for $249 and if you want you can get the SoundFX I (11,500 sounds) library for $199 more. I have many Digital Juice products and as a rule find them the best bang for the buck out there. I don’t know how much longer the special will be up but it’s there today…
