a few years ago I had a Sony DCR-PC110 and enjoyed doing video… I have moved towards still photography and have sold the camcorder about two years ago. I really enjoyed the features and the video quality. Now I want to get into video again to do documentary clips – I don’t need "pro" quality, but want a decent camcorder that rivals (or equals) the PC110 feature & quality wise. I realize that the quality has gotten better throughout the years, but the manufacturers cut down on features (microphone input anyone??)… my budget is pretty limited right now, since I want to pursue this as a hobby.
the Panasonic PV-GS400 seems favorable due to the manual controls, but is not available anymore… Panasonic PV-GS500?? Panasonic PV-GS320??
is there anything out there "better" than the PC110 on a budget?
