I’m currently trying to get a music video off the ground for a jazz band, and I’d like to do it as a silent film. I own an HDR-FX7, which only shoots at 30 fps. How do I achieve the kind of mildly-sped-up look so common to silent films? I haven’t run any tests, but would it involve slowing the shutter speed and then speeding it up in post? That’s probably not it, and, again, I’m only guessing, but does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Speeding up in post will work, filming at 24 then speeding to 29.97
