Will standard def. dvd’s play on high def tv’s and dvd players? Am looking for a new camera and my needs are low light have to work with available light or donate mega bucks to upgrade race track lights and have heard hd cameras aren’t good in low light and fast action.
Thanks
Yes, you can play an SD DVD in a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player. Those players will also “upconvert” the SD footage to look ALMOST like HD footage and will improve the picture quality if you are playing it on an HDTV and have it connected with HDMI.
It will look very nice, but not as nice as HD footage!
