Is there a program, or hardware or something I can use to get video from a DVD and copy it to my desktop so I can work with it in my video editing program?
Canopus Procoder will convert the DVD VOB files to the AVI format. HOWEVER, if you plan on doing so from a Hollywood released DVD, it won’t. Your source DVD can NOT have a copyguard on it.
Also, because DVDs are a compressed file format, your avi file will only look as good as the compressed file. When you are done editing and compress again, you’ll lose even more quality.
OK,
Thanks
