Hi everyone, I would like to know if anyone knows a way to replicate the health bars from Metal Gear Solid in Adobe After effects?

    example: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SXid95fmIos/TaQgVCA-0dI/AAAAAAAAAC8/6nm8LgVB1w4/s1600/Metal_Gear_Solid_-_Metal_Gear_REX.jpg

Im new to the program, only know a few things here and there. If someone could please explain/walkthrough with me on how to replicate this I would greatly appreciate it.

If you’re just looking for a static icon on the screen, just make a GIF in photoshop and drop it in your timeline. You can even make a few, and “animate” them by switching between them if you wish.

On the other hand, if you want them to move, After Effects is your application of choice. Check out this tutorial and check similar ones on youtube. There’s a million of them. I’m sure there’s some Iron Man HUD tutorial that will be close enough that you can adapt it to your liking.
