I’m looking to Replace my aged HDR-HC1 only because it does not record in 1920×1080 it does not fill up my 52″ 1080p TV unless its stretched which makes it look bad.
Are there any other HDV/AVC cams that can record at 1920×1080 at a low price? Or maybe i am using the wrong software to stretch my video which in turn makes it look bad? I use windows media player classic and just full screen it.
don’t get a new camera. you can buy software to up-convert it. I know an AJA Kona3 card can do up-conversions in real time, but that’s for Mac. I’m sure the PC equivalent, the Xena card, will do the same.
