Hello,
I am recording form a sony vcr onto my computer. DVD/VCR combo, model SLV-D350P. I would like to disable the tracking display as it shows up on my recording as well as the play that is displayed. Sony says there is no way to do this.
Is there a combo unit that will let me do this, not reallly worried about brand?
Thank you in advance.
I don’t know about the combo units but I’ve Sony VCR SLV-N51 that lets you to track without the display (it might be by default because I don’t remember turning it off)
I would try using one of the off brands. It sounds like sony might be using that as a copy protection. The cheaper brands seem to care less about those hidden features. I’ve heard people swearing by Apex. They don’t last as long as sony, but their cheap and they play practically anything.
