We are doing a short documentary that will consist of mainly a photo montage with audio narration that will compiled on a computer.

We could record audio with a digital video recorder, but take no video. We have access to a mini-disc recorder, but it seems that this would need to be transferred via analog to the computer. Or someone suggested we buy an MP3 recorder to capture the narration, which could be easily transferred to the computer.

Can anyone comment on what would work best for this type of project?

      Thanks!
