Can someone please advise me on the following issue I am experiencing with an Seagate external drive connected to a MacPro.

Firstly the drive was formatted for Mac and had two partitions.

This configuration worked well until one day the one partition would not mount any longer.

Oddly the other partition was mounting OK. I then went into disk utility and I could see the entire drive with both partitions but the one in question was greyed out and I could not load it from there.

I did manage to make a .dmg file from it. ( 107gB )

Now how do I convert that to a format that I can see and have access again and also transfer it to a another drive so that those file can be read?

I would appreciate any help possible.

      my email: provideo@yebo.co.za

      Thanks,

      Chris
