Any A1 experts out there?
I made a booboo10 minutes into my first test shoot with the new camera. Not seeing the "do not push" sticker on the cassette deck, I pushed ever so slightly. PING! and a 5/8" wide piece of metal with 3 holes and a fin with two bends fell out of the bottom of the deck.
Other than "breaking it," can someone tell me what this metal goes to and wheather it’s an easy fix?
This is an old post so did you get it fixed? If not I can look inside mine with a magnifier if you want and maybe I can see the part you’re talking about.
