Hi, Hope Ive come to the right place to ask for help.
I’ve just purchased aPanasonic HDC-SD60 and as a novice I need some advice. I’ve worked out that I cannot import .mts into Final Cut Pro so firstly I have to use a converter, changing it to a quicktime file – a .mov or mp4, both of which seem to have lots of settings. I’ve done this but my footage in final cut seems very grainy and not that good! My friend says its because its a cheap’ish camera but looking at examples of it on youtube it should look really quite good. As a comparison I loaded it directly into imovie 09 (no conversion necessary) and again, it looks pretty poor. Can anyone give me some tips or point me towards a good beginners site.
Many thanks, Paul.
