Does anyone here own a Panasonic AG-HMC40? If so, I was wondering how you’d compare it to other camcorders as far as video quality. I ordered one recently and have yet to recieve it so I’m looking forward to trying it out. I’ve always wanted a decent 3 chip HD camera with pro manual controls. I own two cameras that are three chip that I’ve aquired through the years; the Sony VX2000 and the Sony FX7. Unfortunately I’ve been dissappointed with the quality of video of both these cameras but recently I bought the 2009 Canon HG-20 and was blown away. It only has one CMOS chip but the video quality is nothing short of breathtaking. I’ve been reading recently about Panasonic and the fact that they are producing some high quality HD cameras as well. That’s why I decided to purchase the Panasonic AG-HMC40 Camcorder. If anyone here has one and can let me know what you think about it, thanks in advance.
