Need help With Power Source..PLEASE

<span style=”font-family: Arial;”> We are looking for a portable power source that we can power a lavalier microphone with. i bought this Black and Decker unit but it seems to produce a real loud hum ..actually it’s more like a buzz. Do you know of a reasonably priced source of power that is portable?</span>
