My business has been very successful lately, and now booked every weekend till July. My problem is now I am starting to get offers to cover events on weekends that I am already booked. My business is sales of videos and webcasts at equine events. I make my money on the sales of the videos to the individual riders.

I am looking for suggestions on the best way to find a partner. Should I just hire someone and pay them a base rate, or base it on a percentage of the sales?

I’d pay a flat hourly rate. That way there are no unfulfilled expectations, no hassle. He does the job, gets paid and you benefit (or lose) on the DVD sales.
