Inactivekatq,
Great find!
I think Gondry and Spike have been leap-frogging each other for years.
I think the most innovative music video is Spike’s Prais You. It’s fantastic because it broke a mold.

One of my cherished DVD’s is The Work of Director Spike Jonze http://www.palmpictures.com/film/the-work-of-director-spike-jonze.php

InactiveI agree entirely with chicoab3. If I had to pick a recent video I would pick the "fell in love with a girl" video by Gondry

After that, I saw so many similar videos! It was astonishing! But I think most of Gondry’s videos are incredibly innovative.

GuestA great resource to see a wealth of music videos and other short films is Palm Picture’s Directors Label Series, which features unique Directors (such as Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry). Net Flix ’em, you won’t be disappointed.

InactiveFor Chris Cunningham and Michel Gondry. They have a lot of what they’re working on and links to many of the videos (including some that didn’t make it on the director’s series)
