I am interested in the SENNHEISER MIK-300 microphone. I recently purchased a Sony HDX FX1 (non-XLR version) and would like to add a shotgun microphone. The MIK-300 only has mono output. Would it be possible to use two MIK-300 units together on a dual shoe adepter with this video camcorder? Would a shoe adepter hold two MIK-300 (far enough part)? Also, would this configuration work or would it be best to purchase a stereo mic? I heard that the MIK-300 microphones are much better than the SONY microphones (example: ECM-MSD1).
