What does the JVC GY-DV5100 have that the JVC GY-DV500U doesn’t? Is the quality better?

I just sold my dv500 camera, If I’m not misstaken the 5100 is the new one. I would go to the 5100. They do not make the dv500 anymore. Mine was from 2002 and you can not swich the dv500’s to 16:9 it only stoots in 4:3 aspect ratio. and it does not allow you to choose frame rates or anything, but the quality was pretty good. But the 5100 does have more functions 😀 .
