Hi, I have a JVC Everio GZ-MG130U and I wanted to record or ‘back-up’ some old home video I have that are on VHS. I can’t seem to find any information on the Internet of how I can do this with my camcorder. I’m beginning to think it’s not possible with my model. Could some one please give me any information they have about this, it would be grestly appreciated. Thanks. P.s. I have the cord that came with the Camcorder, that allows you to plug into the A/V of the camcorder into the composite input to a T.v . Can it be reversed? I think that’s what I’m trying to do.
i don’t think you can accomplish you goal with that hardware. you can get a dvd vhs combo unit pretty cheap and just copy the tapes to dvd.
John
Most JVC cameras provide an Analog Input option that is located in the Menu settings.
You’ll need toconnect the camcorder to the TV or VCR output and turn on Analog Input.
