Hi,
I just received the G-Drive combo (FW400, USB2) & I want to hook it up to my Mac G4 400MHz. According to the drive requirements (OS x 10.2 min), because my Mac is only OS 9.2, I’m assuming that I can not hook the drive up via Firewire, only USB. Is this correct??…….If it is correct, can I “daisy-chain” the connection (as is possible with F/W), since I already have a USB drive hooked up??
Also, my studio tech guy is on tour, so I will have to hook the drive up myself, something that I’ve never done. Could someone give me step by step instructions on how to do this (i.e initializing, partitioning, etc)??
Thank you very much!
all you should have to do is plug the drive in and maby format it its not very hard to do you should be able to handle it
