Is there a video website where a person can upload a short video in an unidentified format and the website will analyze the video and report the format?

      Hi Bill,

This may be overkill, Bill, but Mediainfo (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en) is one of the best. I gives virtually all the information to be found on your video.

Haven’t try YouTube? YouTube will provide a format of a video once you upload it on your channel.

Thanks signmax. QuickTime does exactly what I need. Just load the clip and

click on movie inspector. Thanks to all for responding.

Hi Bill!.. You can also try the Metacafe. It contains mostly short clips and videos and can give you many options to give you description to every feature.

I’d go for ‘G-Spot’. It’s one of the most useful items I have in my tool-kit.
