  hey right now i just use sony vegas for my sound editing and video editing, i like it for video but i am looking for a few sound editing programs that even the professional movie studios use.

  Try Sony Sound Forge.

  Ditto. I’ve been an audio engineer for about 30 years now and Sound Forge is the stuff. Especially if you are familiar with the Vegas interface. The learning curve won’t be much for you either.
